This is the list of gear that I have, over the past few years amassed, (or will amass soon). I chose Canon after much research due to things like low noise high ISO shooting, quality lenses, IS, solid frame rate, ergonomics, and great continual AF. I have whittled down a set of lenses and accessories that fit my style of shooting well. Wildlife, Landscapes, Collegiate Sports, Events, and a hodgepodge of other things. I am always on the hunt for things to make the photography process better.
The Canon 5D II is my go to camera these days when high ISO and high resolution is the priority. With an added grip it is a perfect tool to capture what I see. With accurate AF sensors and 6 AF assist points, 3.9fps shooting, acceptable RAW bursts, magnesium body, partial weather sealing, and live view this is a great tool. The added benefit of a Full Frame camera gives me the wide angles that I have been missing from a few years of crop camera use. With 21MP I have the resolution to make the largest of prints and still have some room to crop. Oh and the features that really makes this camera a great tool for my day to day work... Full 1080P 30fps video. I am just getting to playing with the video; but it has huge potential.
